I strongly believe we should have a WWI Memorial built to honor the great veterans of the war. I have the utmost respect for the military and think that those people deserve it just as much as any other soldier.

i think we should put up at least something for all those who died. espicially after reading all quiet. if we do make something for them, then at least get it done before frank buckles dies.

I believe its unfair for the WWI soldiers to win a war and never be recognized by any kind of official monument. I also think that its almost insulting to ask the last survivor of WWI to on tour with a WWII flag.

I agree with T-Dog. A World War One memorial is appropriate. It isn't right that the veterans of this war have nothing to honor them. Though we have one for the Korean War, which suffered far less casualties.

I think that they should definatly build some sort of monument or a museum while Mr. Buckles is still alive that way we can show him some sort of gratitude.

I believe that not making a WWI monument was really selfish and inconsiderate. Also, especially since they all risked their lives to protect ours. So I really hope they build one so at least the last man standing will feel like he went down in history as someone that wasn't forgotten. :)

I think we should especially honor WWI veterans because in my opinion they had it the worst in almost every area. From going into the war thinking it would be fun or cool to being thrown into war without proper training and dying because of it, I definetly think they should be highly honored.

I agree with everyone else! I think we should have a WWI memorial. All 4 of my brothers are in the military and I would want them honored. The men who served on WWI deserve the same respect then the men who served in WWII, Korea, Iraq, etc., they worked and fought just as hard!

I agree with pretty much everyone. I believe there should be a memorial for WWI. I think it is just a cop out in the article about noone having film or photos of the war. The point of having the memorial would not be to remember the events and battle footage of the war nearly as much as it should be about the people who made the sacrifices they made just to be in it.

i beleive it is unfair that the world war I soldiers do not have a memorial they faught just as hard as any of the other soldiers. and to not honor them is wrong

All those people who fought in the war, and no recognition! It's like saving someone from death, and not getting any thanks in return. I think that we should build a WWI monument, but I also feel guilty in a way, because we didn't honor them while they were still alive.
